Here is my email to the vendor: As you indicated below, I’m replying to your email with information why I can’t give you a 5 star rating. 1. I bought your trap and it worked great. I caught 7 squirrels and a myriad of chipmunks in 2 days. They were released in a wooded area far from my house. The bird seed that attracted them also attracted a pair of rats and I wanted to catch them. Sometime in the night, a larger animal (probably a raccoon) tore up the flimsy cage and I couldn’t repair it. So, I ordered a second trap since I was entirely satisfied with how it worked even through it was flimsy. 2. The second trap arrived in two days but one side of the cage was caved in. It looked like someone stepped on it before packing. The box did not show any signs of damage. So, I surmise that someone didn’t pay too much attention to what they were doing. I was able to press it back into shape close to the original but is doesn’t work as well as the original. The trap keeper latch is too far from the end of the latch wire. They referred me back to Amazon rather than making the effort of correcting the problem. I may be only one customer but I will never buy anything else from this company!
