I need a hand mixer to make seven minute frosting, and a few other times when my Kitchen Aid stand mixer is already doing something else. I read the instruction booklet for this product. It says you must turn off the mixer after 5 minutes and let it rest for 5 minutes. Therefore, it will not work for my purpose. Information about how long you can run the thing is not provided in description online. I'm on my second Kitchen Aid stand mixer after 40 years of baking, so guess I'll give their hand mixer a try even though it has those skinny little wire beaters. This one is going back.
