Dangerous and defective
Based on reviews that I now suspect were at least partially solicited by this seller, I purchased this "all terrain" stroller for my dog. I have a 19 pound pug who needs this assistance after the loss of a leg due to cancer. Having a pet stroller made a big difference in the distance I was able to walk with him and I used this stroller almost daily, in an urban environment with sidewalks, for about 6 weeks. Yesterday when we were several miles from home the metal post that holds the front wheels to the frame just fell off. As another reviewer has shown with photographs taken after a similar problem, the soldered end appeared to be rusted. If you look closely at my photos you'll see the same rust. The metal was soft and easy to bend. My dog was not injured, however we were too far from home for him to walk and my new "all terrain" dog stroller was in pieces. This is an important point to consider if you are planning to purchase this product for a disabled or elderly pet. I knew that, at this low price, I wasn't really purchasing a product suitable for all terrain or rough use. Based on the extremely large number of glowing reviews, I believed that this would still be a safe product for my medium sized dog on paved neighborhood sidewalks. Unfortunately, every corner was cut when manufacturing this shoddy, albeit cute stroller. As other reviewers have commented, the sellers do not have a fluid command of English, demand photos, and refuse to address any issue that occurs after the 30 day return window has closed. They are well within their legal rights to do so, however it is this flagrant disregard for ethics when manufacturing these strollers and the same disregard shown when dealing with the consequences of their corner cutting that leads me to strongly suspect the large numbers of effusive reviews. As I look at the point where these two critical pieces have been soldered together, I cannot believe that there are not more consumers who have experienced this problem. I did a google search and this stroller is being sold on every platform available. Even after seeing the documentation that I immediately provided, this company refused to refund my money because their inferior product did indeed last the 30 days that it was required to do so. I have learned my lesson. If something looks too good to be true, perhaps it is. Shame on me for being swayed by the extraordinarily low purchase price. I got what I paid for. I'm on a tight budget but I'll make sure that the next pet stroller I buy is priced to ensure that it was able to be made to last more than a month. I will also consider more closely the consequences of doing business with companies who sell products at prices too low to provide decent wages and conditions for their employees.
