Nearly strangled our 16 month old son! I am SO thankful our 3 year old hadn't fallen asleep yet on our ride home from the beach yesterday! He saved his little brother's life! I bought this about a year ago and never had to chance to use it since I'm always driving. Yesterday while my husband was driving I thought great, I can help my son support his neck with this product I kept in the back middle console of our suv. So I grabbed it and strapped it on our sleeping baby. About 20 minutes later our older son, who has a severe speech disorder, Apraxia, became frantic and did everything in his power to alert us that sokethwwas wrong with his baby brother. I looked back and saw this head strap UNDER our son's neck. He must have pulled it down and couldn't make a sound because it was strangling him! I thank God he was OK. It could have been a horrible tragedy once we arrived home. Or could have caused internal decapitation had we needed to slam on our brakes. So so SCARY! PLEASE do not purchase this item. Manufacturer needs to recall IMMEDIATELY!!!
