Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I love everything this product except that it creates a tasteless white residue in my drink. I washed, scrubbed, and boiled the trays for good measure and the problem didn't go away. I then tested if the problem is in my water, using my old ice tray and a small stainless steep cup, that wasn't it. This is definitely something in the product, but I can't figure out what it is. I have attached pictures to show you the white floaty stuff.
