Terrific product, horrific Customer service.DO NOT BUY!
This is a good product, I wouldn't have bought 5 of them prior (all 3 of our Iphones) and easily withstood 2 drops where the screen cracked and I opt'd to replace with a newer Techarmor protector. I'm meticulous at applying them. Naturally, when I just purchased my new Ipad Pro, Tech armor was the first place I went for a new protector. Product arrived fine, everything looked good. I opened my brand new ipad (literally right out of the box) carefully applied the alcohol rub, then used the stickies to remove any tiny particles of dust. Used the 2 suction cups to properly apply, and and set everything down just right. Smooth sailing, until my Ipad looked like the skin of a leopard. I've dealt with bubbles before, and usually you can carefully work them out using the squeegee tool they provide. These weren't those. No matter how much pressure I applied to the spots, they would work themselves away. There was probably about 15 of them on the screen. Here's where a 5 Star Product becomes a 1..
I figured, hey Tech Armor boasts this great warranty, let me reach out to them right away and see if they can help me get this resolved. I've never had to use it before as I never ran into any issues like this, Knowing the products as well as I did, I had no reason to believe they wouldn't help me quickly. Boy was I wrong. I've exchanged 5 emails with them each time, me explaining the issue. I have not received one reply from someone who actually read my email. I just get the same generic signature with a different name at the bottom, all suggesting me to follow the link to order my replacement parts.
AT MY EXPENSE!
No, they aren't going to say hey, sorry we sent you a defective screen, here is a replacement, thanks for the continued business for the last 2 years. Nope! Here's a link to go and file a "Non-Warranty Replacement" for $9.95.
5 emails, and multiple calls to their 1-800 number (which essentially is an answering machine as not one of my phone calls were ever answered) and all I have to show over the last 2 weeks is a garbage screen protector that looked so horrible on my brand new ipad, that I threw it away. (not to mention rolling the dice with no protection) I know their products inside and out, it pains me to write this review, however the complete incompetence of their Customer Service Department has left me no choice. Under no circumstance would I recommend this product to anyone. Don't boast a warranty and then not stand behind it, at all. Treat your loyal customers a little better and maybe you can prevent reviews like this in the future.
