Not 100% stainless steel.
Cheap metal and tasted like tin. The mesh might be stainless steel but the frame and chain are some cheap magnetic metal. A magnet picked these up by the frame and chain with no problem. These produced a horrible metallic taste in the brewed tea and one was starting to rust at the hinge. I promptly returned these.
