★★☆☆☆
Cuts, nicks and irritation. And still stubble!
More nicks and cuts than a traditional blade, without the close shave. I might as well have shaved with a cheese grater. I shaved against the grain as the instructions suggested, and this resulted in several nicks and cuts on my neck, with stubble still remaining, as well as red irritation that lasted throughout the day. In addition, it took longer to shave with this than a traditional razor and with zero added convenience or benefit. The blades still have to replaced, and you have to charge the thing. I really see no point and can't fathom the positive reviews, except for the fact that many reviewers seem to have received one for free. Well I didn't, I paid $35 for the thing and it's going straight back to the store. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of 1 is because it did an okay job at trimming my beard, but not a great one. The head of the blade is just too small and dull to be effective. Trimming my beard around my mouth was a disaster, as it barely worked. Sideburns and jaw line were okay. I'll stick with my Gillette fusion pro glide and my Wahl beard trimmer.
