I would be careful with this one. My 8 year old cat started having these weird coughing fits after switching to this litter. A few hundred dollars at the vet later, and it was determined that the smaller particles in the lightweight litter triggered her to develop asthma, and she will likely be on anti-inflammatory medications for the rest of her life. With her age, the vet said that it's highly unlikely she simply developed it with no trigger, and this was the only change to the house before she developed symptoms. It was nice to have it be lighter, but not worth my cat's health. If I had known this was a possibility, I would not have switched. I have switched back to using the regular weight litter, but the damage is done and cannot be reversed.
