Whoever designed this product has never used one before. Im a very skinny guy with a 29" waist and even I think the straps are too short. With the current design you are required to clumsily tie the elastic bands behind your back. If they make the bands at least twice as long as they are now, you could wrap them all the way around your torso and make the knot in the front. If the price was around $10 I might recommend this product to other people, but at $45 its a complete scam. The product sucks bad enough that I think they're taking advantage of people. Also, the Amazon description stated that the outer material holds in body heat thus removing the need for an electric heating mat. That is a complete lie. This wrap does no such thing. You're still going to want an external heat source. Instead of buying this I recommend doing a classic castor oil pack where you place an oil soaked piece of cloth on the needed body area. Then cover with a cut to size stretchy shower curtain ($10 at Walmart). They're water proof, oil proof, and machine washable. Make a piece big enough to wrap all the way arpund your torso. Then use some elastic band fabric (also sold in the fabric section of Walmart) to wrap around your torso to keep everything in place. Bonus: You can also add an extra layer on top of the shower curtain made of something aluminized. Something like a "survival blanket" but made of fabric. That will help warm the area without the need for an electric heating mat.
