After spending 159 $ three times in a year for drain snaking from plumbers, I decided to be proactive when my tub drain started getting slow. I bought to sets of green gobbler figuring what did I have to lose. Since the drain was only a little slow, I felt this was a good time to do it. I waited until we were done showering and poured the first half bottle down the tub drain. After about 6 hours, I poured boiling water down and noticed that it was even more slow than it was. Ok, so I did the second half bottle and this time waited 8 hours and again, poured boiling water many times into the drain. Now the tub is full on stopped up. No flow at all. Fast forward to today after again paying a plumber 159 $ to snake the drain and pull out just hair that was obviously not dissolved. I will try to take advantage of the “guarantee” and report back on how that part went. As far as this product is concerned, in my opinion, don’t waste your time, it’s worthless. It didn’t dissolve anything and made my clog worse. Update: after emailing amazon, I got a full refund of both sets of bottles and the shipping too so kudos to amazon. This product still sucks though I was afraid to even pour the unused bottles down the drain as you might figure.
