I bought these boxes to help with classroom organization, specifically to hold spare sets of clothing for my preschoolers in their individual cubbies. The storage boxes arrived undamaged as some reviewers have noted is a problem. The 5 qt. size is about the size of an average shoebox. They would work okay for very lightweight storage, but I would not plan on stacking these boxes. They are very flimsy and not study at all. You will not want to store any heavy items in these boxes. The lids do not fit well or stay snapped on. I am rather disappointed in the quality of these boxes. I doubt that they will last through an entire school year without becoming broken. The plastic is very thin and will not be durable in a classroom. I will not purchase these again in the future. For the price I paid, I could have gotten a better quality at the local dollar store and it would have cost less.
