Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

If you haven't noticed, most of these reviews were written while the product was still in use. I wonder how many of those people will come back to change them when it's time to take the adhesive off! I bought several of these safety latches for various different places around my house. I put one on my toilet and all the rest in the kitchen. After about a month, the moisture was too much for the adhesive in the bathroom and it came off the porcelain part of the toilet BUT then I struggled immensely to get the other adhesive off of the plastic toilet seat. I eventually had to chisel it off with a screwdriver. The ones in the kitchen did their jobs and held up pretty well. After about 6 months I tried to take them off and they would not come off!! My husband was VERY careful when he pried them off with a screwdriver and it still ruined my cabinets (look at the picture). Complete false advertising by saying "easy to remove" and "won't damage furniture."
