Didn’t even bother finishing it...
I’ll start by saying The Croods (1st movie) is a family favorite. For The Croods 2, the storytelling wasn’t good at all. Out of 6 people watching it (ages 6-75), not a single one of us wanted to finish watching it. It was a big disappointment to say the least. Guy was unlikeable half of the movie. The new age people were WAY too modern acting. The romance was a little over the top with Eep and Guy in the beginning. There were lots of almost psychedelic like parts in the movie, with the characters acting really weird. At some points they were acting as if they were drunk or on drugs. The storyline continued to go downhill throughout the movie. At about 1/2 or 3/4 through, my 6 year old, who LOVES Croods 1, got up and declared he wasn’t going to keep watching this movie. And his 7 and 11 year old cousins got up and followed him out. Wouldn’t recommend it all, unless your curiously gets the best of you and you want to see for yourself how crappy it was.
