Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Amazon reviews are critical to most when making purchases on Amazon. It is extremely frustrating when you read glowing reviews only to find out the product is average at best. I was looking for sheets that were considerably better than what you would purchase from a big box store. These sheets were not that. When I purchased them they had the price marked as if they were half off. The psychology, of course, is to give the impression you are getting a super deal. There is no way these sheets could cost more than $100. Comfort is subjective and also based on experience and these sheets at best are what you would find in any discount store giving the impression of offering quality sheets. They are thin, the elastic is so weak it cannot grip the mattress, and they were no more comfortable than any typical box store sheet that advertises 400 thread count. As hard as it is to accept, you pretty much get what you pay for and this is an average sheet that gives the impression it is high quality sold at a bargain price. There is no way to prove the manufacturing process, thread count, or quality of cotton, but these sheets are not by any measure the thick, comfortable, soft, cotton sheets that make one melt into a comfortable restful sleep. My spouse didn't even recognize they were different sheets from what we normally use. Very disappointed and I washed them multiple times just to be sure the fibers were broken in. If you are looking for high-quality exceptional sheets, these are not them.
