I like the game, however they have recently changed it. The new 3rd edition (the girl isn't smiling in the box cover picture) does NOT have the plot cards which were available in the 2nd edition. Instead they added the Inquestioner expansion which is (from what I understand) the same thing as the Lady of the Lake from Resistance: Avalon. This base game is now basically the same as Resistance: Avalon, but does not have the roles of the character cards. This means that you are now basically buying a stripped down version of Resistance: Avalon. I would say spend the extra $5 and buy Avalon instead. You can play the base game in Avalon as well if you so choose (simply ignore the effects of each character card and treat them as either spies or resistance). I purchased this and found out it was the third edition. I am going to return it and buy Avalon instead. I have added pictures showing the box cover of the 2nd edition and 3rd edition. The second edition has the girl smiling with a background of what seems to be a train station, whereas the 3rd edition has an unhappy girl with a few people holding umbrellas in the background.
