Right from Step 1, you would be having issues. The picture of washer orientation is incorrect. Description on Instructions says,”narrower edge facing spigot threads”, but the picture on Instructions is opposite! Then, the can of hopped malt extract is very difficult and frustrating to open. I give it the lowest possible rating because I’m not the only one having this leaking keg issue. The manufacturing of 2 gallon keg is defective due to the spigot being placed right on the ridge! Seller knows about it but will do nothing about softening the ridges or changing location of spigot or making the spigot connection area smooth so it does not leak! This is not a “necessity” product...I mean you can live without it. It is a “gift or hobby” type of product, so customer user experience and ease of use should be #1 consideration. How would you feel when the recipient of your gift is unable to complete Step 1 because Seller sends kegs that are deformed and will ALWAYS leak unless you use a sand paper and spend time chiseling excess plastic off the ridges. I am returning it to send a message to the Seller to do some long-term fix about it. I strongly recommend all buyers facing leaking keg to not ask for replacement. Rather, just return the product so Seller gets a strong message about improving it instead of running away from the main issue.
