The flag pole works as it should but there is a design flaw that causes the pole to break in half. I bought my first pole 7 months ago and one day I come back home and find my flag with half my pole on the ground in a puddle. Not cool. I contacted them via email because they guaranty the pole to not break in the wind and told them my pole broke and they were very nice and sent me another one. This new one lasted maybe 2 months. Broke the same way. Notice in my pictures that the thread is made of plastic and they break causing the 2 halves of the pole to not stay together. Then look at the not broken picture. Also look for tangle free flag poles. They are all the same! Made by the same company and selling to different brands.
