I like the shape of this container which is why we decided to try it. I did a trial run and comparison between this container and the Pottery barn thermos and the Thermos brand thermos. I tried this with hot water from the Keurig in all 3 in one of my 2 tests. The hot water was lukewarm after 3 hours in this container. It was still hot after 7 hours in the other 2 containers. I put this away in the cabinet, my son accidentally knocked one down and it broke before we could do anything but have a test with it. The plastic shell and the metal insert separated.
