I used this to repair a rock chip on my Sprinter van. Ive used Permatex in the past with good results and thought this would be similar. Unfortunately the repair only filled the pit and not the cracks even though i used a heat gun as suggested in the instructions so the pit/star is still quite visible. You are better off buying the kit from Permatex or another manufacturer that incorporates a syringe in their kit first as a vacuum to create negative air pressure in the area of the pit and then as a plunger to force the resin into the cracks.
