These things are dangerous. Do not buy them!
I used this as directed, making sure to set a timer for 10 minutes so I wouldn’t use it for too long. There was some discomfort, but the instructions assured me that this was common so I went with it. I was deeply relaxed when I had a random muscle spasm. This caused every bone in my neck to pop in succession. I was dizzy and nauseous. I got up and immediately fell down. I got up again and tried to open a bottle of ibuprofen, but my motor skills were so bad I just spilled everything. I wanted to call for help, but I couldn’t even form a sentence for a moment. After a second, it subsided enough for me to lie on my bed and use my phone to call my roommate to come to my room. She did and I was able to explain to her what had happened. I was really winded, flushed, and sweating like crazy. I also got really cold and couldn’t hear out of one ear. I decided to wait it out and the symptoms subsided pretty steadily. Today (the day after), I fee mostly okay save for a slight tingling on the back of my neck and between my shoulder blades. My arms to feel a tiny bit weak and tingly. I’m taking it easy and monitoring everything. At the moment, I’m not experiencing any pain and I have feeling and control over my body, but I do still feel weird. I think the fact that I seem to be mostly okay is luck on my end because last night was terrifying and I thought I had paralyzed myself. I took the item to return today and got my money back. I also wanted to post this to warn others. I used this thing as directed. I didn’t exceed 10 minutes, I didn’t fall asleep, and I used the proper posture for it. I only felt discomfort, but no pain, which the instructions assured me was fine. But one small involuntary jerk led to one of the most frightening few minutes in my life and a day later, I’m still monitoring things to make sure this won’t still end up with a hospital visit. For your safety, don’t buy this thing. Seek professionals who know what they’re doing. The money you might save using this isn’t worth the risk of permanent injury.
