I was sitting in my livingroom with the kids watching a movie, heard a pop, saw the Christmas tree lights flicker, and and also saw a flash behind the tree. I got up and checked (christmas tree was the only thing plugged into this device). I would not recommend this product if your going to leave things plugged in and on when your not around.
