Dangerous authors...
This book could serve as archtypical example of how rhetoric and slanted "journalism" (propoganda) can be used to distort the truth. I am glad that I picked up Horowitz's book because it made me aware of how dangerous he, and the machine that supports as well as promotes his agenda, are to basic democratic principles such as free speech. By distorting the truth and then using television and print outlets to create an interlocking framework of specious facts and arguments, Horowitz actually is damaging the very liberties that he supposedly stands for. Borrow this book from your library, don't buy it so that Horowitz profits more from your purchase.
