I ordered this because it claimed to have an 8 year warranty. I was skeptical when I opened the box because the cover was so thin and flimsy, but I thought maybe it will still hold up ok. After only one winter, one winter, the cover has tears in it. I wrote their customer service and was instructed to send pictures. They told me that they will not cover the warranty because I used bricks and pavers to hold the cover down. According to their instructions, it says not to use bricks or sharp blocks to weigh down the cover, but does not state it will void warranty. Also the damage is inside the pool, nowhere near the weights, and the cover is in tact everywhere the hold downs are, the damage is not related to the weights, and the pictures show this, yet they said they won't cover the warranty. The damage would have happened with ANY weights. This is a terrible quality product, and the company will not back the product's warranty. Stay away and choose a better cover.
