CPR V5000 Has Saved My Sanity
I was going out of my mind from the half dozen or so robocalls that I was receiving daily. My phone system only blocked 30 calls, and I had used my limit long ago.
I bought the CPR V5000. In fact, I thought that it wasn't working for the first few days, as I was getting no robocalls. Well, after almost a week, I am
delighted with the Call Blocker.
I have two criticisms. I have the blocker installed in series. If I block a call using the #2 on one of my extension phones, it does ring once. When I block a number using the "block call" button, and the blocked number calls, there are no rings. I would have loved to be given some notice when a call is blocked.
Despite these two issues, I still have to give the blocker 5 stars, as it does exactly what I want to to do.
Addendum:
As you may have noticed, my appraisal of this product has gone from 5 stars to 1 star. I bought this product in August of last year. It worked beautifully until a couple of days ago. I had been expecting a call from my friend. When she did not call, I called her. She said that she had tried to call me numerous times, but the call would not go through.
A little while later, I could not use my phones at all. I would get a busy signal. My husband disconnected the blocker, and the phones worked normally. Today, I tried to reconnect the blocker, and I got the busy signals again. I even tried to use the other lines, and those did not work at all. I think that a piece of equipment that costs $100- should be expected to last more than 11 months.
