Unlisted Ingredient Caused Medical Complications
I have never left a product review... But I wouldn't feel right about not warning others about what I am currently going through due to the use of this product and the effects it's had on a medical skin condition I.. And maybe you... suffer from. I.. am so irritated by this company's irresponsible product labeling and false marketing. When I see "100% aloe," I assume that the product is just that. Apparently this company has decided that the customer understands that aloe requires a "carrier oil" to deliver the aloe to your skin in the form of an oil. I have mallessezia.. a skin condition in which I can only use products with a certain carbon chain length. Aloe falls into that category. Almond oil.. which apparently is the carrier oil used.. does not. Organic.. Cold pressed.. Whatever.. It's not what it says it is.. And it has destroyed my skin. I have to work very.. very hard to keep my skin semi-decent. This product has caused me actual physical pain and, emotionally, well let's just say I've missed work over the ordeal and have avoided friends due to the visible consequences. Also, pretty sure I'll never be able to try a new product without wondering whether or not they decided to throw in an extra, unlisted ingredient. Don't get me wrong... I bought my first bottle for a friend who LOVED it. So I got one for myself. My brother has used the remainder of the one I bought for myself and he loves it too. I'm sure it's wonderful... If it isn't toxic to your body. Shame on you Dr. Adorable. A small mention of the carrier oil could've saved me a lot of pain and turmoil. Amazon.. I'd reconsider offering this company's products.
