I love Le Creuset, and own several pieces. Unfortunately my old pan like this fell off the counter and the handle broke... so I bought this. This one is NOT like the old one! Perhaps it's an Amazon version? Or maybe Le Creuset has changed their way of making this pan?? What's different is the cooking surface. The older version is very non-slip. But this one is not at all non-slip. For some reason this cooking-surface is porous and grippy, which causes everything to stick to it, which makes it so very hard to clean. I am very disappointed by this pan. For the money, this is not worth it.
