They do not make this stuff like they used to. On 2 separate occasions these things exploded on removal from the oven. We followed the instructions. There was no contact with anything metal or hard or cold. They just exploded in a very dangerous way sending glass and ruined food across the entire kitchen. We've used Pyrex for 40 years without a problem. These new versions seem to be defective and dangerous.
