This single star is for the presentation not the films. The films are great and worthy of a better presentation than they've received here. The card board digipack is just about the lowest form of packaging there is IMO. Only marginally better than a paper envelope. This particular package isn't even assembled well. Several of the slots where the discs are stored aren't glued properly and the discs aren't back stopped and push through. You should plan on buying proper storage box(es). Every disc in this set had technical problems. Fallen Angels and Chunking Express both started having issues around the 1:05:00 mark before freezing up entirely ~1:10:00. As Tears Go By had similar problems. Days of Being Wild played through but with stuttering, freezing and skipping issues mainly toward the later part of the film. Happy Together has problems with pixelation from the initial menu. I was so disgusted by this I didn't go any further with playback. In The Mood For Love and 2046 both had issues as well but honestly by the time I'd reached them I'd lost all interest in taking notes on problems and where they occurred. I tried these discs on a Sony BD player an Xbox One X and a Samsung BD drive. I had issues with each. Therefore I'm returning this set to Amazon for a refund. I do want this set but I'm going to give Criterion some time to get their manufacturing QC in order. When I do replace this set I'll also buy some proper storage boxes.
