We've used our under sink water filter for over a year now (going on 2 years). However, the last two replacement filters we've received had small cracks in them causing water to spray all over the place when turning the water pressure back on. The first time it happened, we thought it was a fluke. But the second time it happened made us question the quality control of the filter. So now we plan to carefully inspect each replacement filter we receive and exchange them if we detect any cracks. The non-defective filters are smooth to the touch. The defective ones you'll discover something that feels like a scratch in the housing. This is the crack that, when under pressure, will open and spray water in under your sink and in your kitchen. I'd give this a 5 star rating if they can fix it because we love the filter. However, until they do, it's 2 stars. I'll update this review when I can get a filter that isn't defective!
