We owned an earlier version of this model for 10 years; loved it; and only decided to replace it when the on/off switch finally died. We had no problems with the earlier model during that 10-Year period & used it daily. What a disappointment the new model is! The maximum temp of the freshly brewed coffee is 170 degrees; it should be between 190-200 degrees. It brews quickly but needs a follow-up heating in the microwave. We are returning it.
