I had high hopes for this hot tub/pool heater but they were dashed into the ground after 6 months! Here is a picture and a short clip. Looks like it has been leaking for a while but the leak was on the drain side right over the floor drain on the left side that faces a wall (Not the water inlet/outlet side). It may have been seeping since it was installed but was not noticed until the leak got big and I couldn't figure out why the hot tub kept losing water. Either these Heat Exchangers are not made robust enough or they have a manufacturing assembly problem. I go with the later once since the leak seems to be where the elbows are brazed into the heat exchanger. Now I have figure out how to contact Hayward and get a RGA#. Wish me luck I'll let you know how it goes. I just bought a big 400,000 BTU Hayward for the pool and installed it 2 weeks ago. I pray I have better luck with it!
