dissapointment
when I was in the military,a button coming off could spell disaster before an inspection or during work. I told my mom about this during a phone call home.she sent me a Ronco buttoneer.with a little practice I could reattach a button in seconds.saving me a lot of extra duty hours for a uniform in need of repair.the only drawback was the limited number and colors of the fastners.I also needed OD green.I wrote Ronco.they responded telling me I could order the colored fasteners I needed.I was set for the duration of my carreer,I helped many a troop in distress.these fastners were sturdy, I never had one fail, even under combat conditions. now I have grandkids, who constantly lose buttons.I found I could no longer order fasteneers for my Ronco machine, but a new fastner machine could be had.so I obtained one,It's not at all the quality of the old one, made cheap, the fastners break easily,a total waste of time and money, unless you just use buttons for decorations and don't plan to use them. bring back the old machine !
