I would not recommend these cables for the following reasons. The springs in the clamps are very weak and do not clamp the battery posts as tightly as needed to transfer current. The nose of the clamp is designed to accommodate side post and has a projection that is in the way when you try to use them on a top post. Because of the project you are not able to come straight down on the post and make a good connection. They kind of hide this feature in the pictures, otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my time purchasing them. I tried jumping a couple of cars and was not even able to get the cars to start. Don't waste your money on these.
