This Mamba V2-50 1 Gram 50mm Electric Herb Grinder, exploded and started a big fire inside my garage. I purchased it for a Christmas present and it was lightly used until new years eve when it malfunctioned overheated and exploded. I'm just now finding the time to sit here and write this review. After using the grinder in my garage it sat on my workbench, then about an hour later as me and my family where getting ready for bed we noticed a burning smell inside the house. My wife opened the door to the garage only to have thick black smoke pouring into the house and screamed Fire. I stepped into the garage to see 5ft flames in the center of the garage where I had a camping chair and some left over Christmas boxes. I already had fire extinguisher in hand after hearing fire and put out a majority of the flames. Opened the garage door and used a snow shovel to push all the burning materials out into the driveway. After Investigating the cause of the fire I found the grinder on my workbench melted with everything around it either burned into ashes or charred. It was obvious this was the ignition source. I have work experience of investigating fires along side with fire departments and emergency response. the battery exploded sending the battery across the room and landed on my camping chair. which cased the chair, blankets, clothes, cardboard boxes and some reusable bag to ignite and catch fire. My whole garage and everything inside of it has smoke damage. We are very lucky it happened the way it did it could have been a lot worse. I am unfortunately passed the 30 day return policy so I'm not sure what amazon will be able to do. I will be contacting the manufacture see if they could be of any help. I do not recommend this product to anyone.
