They worked ok for 2 days until one heated up while we weren't home. The cord was plugged into a surge protector, but no devices were connected. It was hot enough to burn a hole into the side of the waste paper can nearby. We are incredibly lucky our apartment didn't catch fire. The cord, outlet, and surge protector are all still on perfectly normal condition so it clearly was the result of the adapter. Use at your own risk I suppose!
