The readings from this device are always at least 10 mm Hg too high. I purchased this unit to monitor my BP. After a month on new BP medicine, readings at home were still too high. My doctor asked me to come in and bring this unit. At the doctor's office me my readings taken manually by a nurse and with their electronic machine were where they should be. When they took the readings with this machine, they were too high. Imagine a reading of 122/74 by the nurse vs 135/85 from this machine (which was just about my weekly average at home). Update: Sent unit back on my dime. Omron returned it saying it worked saying it worked perfectly. Here are two readings off of two Omron devices minutes apart. The lower reading is the same I get at doctor's office. The higher reading is from the device that is working perfectly.
