This was purchased for me through Amazon as a gift. I didn't even use it very often (maybe three times) before it exploded. I didn't store it in the sun or a hot place. I kept it in the pouch in a desk drawer. I contacted Anker to ask if they would replace it, but they wouldn't because I didn't have the order number. I told them it was a gift. They still wouldn't do it. I sent them 4-5 pictures and told them I would return it to them so they can see that I really own one and it really did explode. They still wouldn't replace it. I was disappointed that they wouldn't replace the seemingly faulty product. I stand by Amazon and know that if I would have purchased it myself, they would have made sure that I was either refunded or the product was replaced. Only because I didn't want to bother the person who gave me the gift and have them look up the order number, I got stuck with a faulty charger. It was good while it worked!
