I purchased the "Brother Compact Monochrome Laser Multifunction Copier and Printer, DCPL2550DW" on March 11, 2018 and today March 24, 2018, the printer is worthless. I set up the printer. I had no problem connecting the printer with wireless. I had a 500 page report that I had to print today. I printed about 50 pages and got the "toner low" alarm and the machine quit printing. That's OK. I understand that the printer companies give you an installed toner cartridge that is going to give out quick. That's why I ordered the "Brother Genuine TN760 Black High Yield Toner Cartridge" with my printer which is advertised to have a "Page Yield Up To 3,000 Pages". No problem. I installed the new "High Yield Toner Cartridge" and started printing again. I was able to print up to 347 pages of my report with my new "High Yield Toner" Cartridge. That means I got the "toner low" alarm after printing 300 copies with a brand new "High Yield" cartridge. My printer does not work. It will not print. It is telling me that the "High Yield Cartridge" gave out after 300 copies and to go out and spend $74.98 for a new brother toner cartridge so I can print another 300 pages of my report. I am not going to spend another $74.98 to buy another brother cartridge that is supposed to print thousands of pages and only prints 10% of that amount before it gives out. Brother is worthless.
