Overly generalized - basic dime store nonsense
Heard about this book on a podcast and got it for the empath in my life. Sadly, this book is overly generalized nonsense. There is no meat here. The author makes sweeping statements and asserts changes to behavior as if they might be accomplished through magic. Nothing empirical or scientific here. The book is so fluffy, it is good for a few laughs. So too are some of the reviews on this page that must be about a different book: "Every chapter and section therein contains highly useful, practical information that the reader can implement immediately." -- there is nothing practical in these pages. And you are on your own to "implement" obvious suggestions like "just don't be a perfectionist" "She’s not pushy in saying that someone needs to do something." - she most certainly does. Spend your money elsewhere. Maybe on something that isn't self-published.
