I have a border terrier who is 14.5 lbs. He was recently diagnosed with lymphoma :( so I was looking for something that would allow him to come everywhere with me, and this was the perfect solution! I was happy it shipped so fast. It looked great when I received it... but upon opening, I noticed that because the "carriage" was made of a softer, pliable material, it was indented by at least 1.5 inches... see the photos, and how the middle part dips in? Once my furbaby was inside, he seemed super cramped. Please note that on Amazon, the measurements read L20 W12 H13. On the website, the measurements read L19.7 W11.8 H13.4 If the measurements were what was stated on the website, or even on amazon, it would have been perfect!!! However, the height was so low, he could not even stand. He had to uncomfortably hover. I thought this was because of the indent that the ceiling was low, hoping that within time, it would pop out... but I took my measuring tape out and measured the frame of the carriage- and low and behold, even the frame came in at no more than 12 inches. I would say that at its highest point, the ceiling to floor space of the carriage is, at a MAXIMUM, 11.5 inches. NOT 13, certainly not 13.4. So I thought, maybe my baby can just lie down the whole time? The length of the measurements reads 20 inches, which would have worked great! However, when I went to measure the longest point of the carriage, it came in at 19. Please note, that the longest point is NOT the floor space of the carriage. Notice how it is shaped like an egg? The floor space of the carriage is only about 16 inches long... So, he cannot even lay down all the way. Did anybody else have this issue? Was I the only one who received a small carriage? At my furbaby's size, every inch counts, and there's no way that I could zip this up without making him super sad and super uncomfortable. I do not want to put him in any more pain than he is already in. I would love to give this 5 stars... But I can't- because I DID measure everything and he would have fit if measurements were accurate. Or perhaps I received a defective carriage? I don't know. I do know that I am extremely disappointed and unsatisfied. I will happily change my review if customer service can somehow address this issue for me....
