It didn't happen immediately, but after a couple months, I noticed some bizarre changes in my cat, Oreo. He started clumping like I've never seen before. All long-haired cats clump from time to time but this was unusually thick and covered his body. Then I took a closer look at his neck, which is usually a thick, glorious mane, and all the fur around the collar area is completely gone. It's like someone shaved a 2 inch ring around his poor neck. It's red and irritated too. My vet recommended this collar so I never read the negative reviews. I'm so upset. Please do not use this collar if you love your cats. It might work for some but not for all. And the positive reviews were probably given right away but it took a few months for this to happen. These collars are poison. I've attached a couple pictures so you can see for yourselves what this collar did to my cat.
