The doll that arrived is not the doll shown in the promos. The hair is a mess....its not the short 'bubble' set that has a vintage look in the promo shots/proto type. Not even close. Its long past the shoulders, a stringy mess and both sides are different lengths. The doll has the cheap stiff legs that comes with the 8.00 fashionista Barbies. The jewelry (And its a stretch calling it jewelry) is molded cheap plastic garbage. The dress is okay - looks close to the promos but not as sell made. Even the newer packaging is cheap looking. I feel bad because this could have been a hit series. So far both the Amelia and Katherine are 19.99 dolls with nothing interesting or says 'Must Have' as a Pop-Culture collector. A missed opportunity on Mattel's part.
