I want to like this rack! Purchased using amazon points in February... Installed, went on 800 mile trip. upon returning I noticed overly excessive movement of bike rack. Upon further inspection, the hitch base plate was suffering from metal fatigue. I documented the issue and requested relief from Saris warranty department. I was told the bike rack issue was from user error and they would not warranty the product. I understand that products fail, but feel that Saris sold me a defective product and will not honor their warranty.
