Black people, save yourself the trauma and DON'T WATCH.
Don't watch this. I regret having watched it, especially the ever-traumatic and not at all entertaining depictions in Episode 5.
There is nothing to gain from this show. It is not well-done horror.
Yes, they tended to avoid the jump-scares and corny horror tropes, but instead opted for virulent and disturbing trauma of a dark-skinned Black family.
To everyone involved with the making of this series. No Season 2. Don't do it.
Remember the saying "Just because we could doesn't mean we should." and keep whatever ideas you have for more of this or anything like it to yourself.
One star is generous but Amazon doesn't let us offer anything less.
