Not a fan of this machine. I've had both Hoover and Bissell carpet cleaners and purchased this machine because it supposedly did a better job of extraction. That is absolutely true, it sucks the water out better than any home machine I have used. Unfortunately there are some significant cons to the Max 60.
1. It is really flimsy.
2. The wheels are very rickety, like you would find on a toy.
3. The washing cycle is limited due to a small capacity water tank.
4. The hand washer head was so weak it cracked before I ever used it.
5. And the receptacle tank (dirty water tank) was fastened together with screws that RUSTED! How could you put a water tank together with screws that rust?
This machine is pretty cheap but I’d recommend buying a better quality machine or renting a heavy-duty machine, which is know is a pain. But the Hoover Max Extract 60 is not a good investment.
