The blades, made from soft steel, became too dull to use after only a couple of hours of shredding 1/4” saplings. The instruction manual indicates the blades can be reversed, sharpened or replaced easily. Unfortunately, the Allen head screws that hold the blades, are torqued so tight, the blades can’t be removed. Ironically, the circuit breaker located near the on/off switch was not torqued enough, causing it to fall inside an area of the machine never to be seen again. If I could remove the blades to replace or sharpen, as the instructions indicated I could, I would keep the machine. No help from Amazon or the manufacturer.
