★★☆☆☆
Efficient juicer, bad design
The juicer itself is magnificent. Heavy, well-manufactured, and visually compelling. It also juices perfectly. There are, however, a few crucial "howevers." Despite appearing straightforward, the design makes it easy to injure oneself. The suction feet don't grip. The juicer toppled over several times when the handle was pressed downward. It takes significant effort to press the handle downwards. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's not a device for folks whose hands and wrists aren't up to snuff. It's far too easy to get one's finger caught inadvertently. The press handle will fall of its own weight unless fully brought upwards. If one is trying to work quickly, one can find one's fingers caught as one removes the squeezed fruit from the machine. I love the look, and the machine's efficiency. It fully juices anything you put in it, but I would NOT buy this again. There aren't enough safeguards against injury.
