In this case, cheaper does NOT mean less expensive
It just means cheap. They shred when used for even the lightest tasks.
Nothing like the real thing. I go through 2 of these, on average, to each one of the original (thinner/smaller) Mr Clean erasers. These shred all over the place just wiping off a counter or similar everyday task. For heavier tasks--like wiping down a wall or removing caked-on doggie nose art from the outside windows of my French doors (after weeks of accumulation because of freezing weather and snow), I need at least three of these to each Mr Clean.
Wipe down the inside of the oven after something spatters? Useless.
These work out to about 1/2 the price per sponge of the cheapest Mr Clean erasers (if purchased in bulk). If I'm using 2-4 for each one of the original Mr Clean, I'm certainly not saving money.
