I purchased this headboard for my daughter back in April. After a few mods it was installed with the new frame and mattress set, along with all new bedding and pillows. After about a week my daughter had a rash on her arm that looked like hives. Since then its been getting worse, and my daughter discovered a bug on her neck. We investigated further and to our horror discovered this new headboard was infested with Bed Bugs! We live in a new home with all new bedding and furnishings. There is no doubt these GD Bugs came from the headboard. We had to throw out her new mattress, bedding, headboard, Everything! Now we are spending hundreds of dollars on an exterminator. This should not happen here in the USA. I contacted Mod way and they deny any wrong doing and will not help in the slightest. After looking on line there are dozens of similar stories just like this with upholstered headboards. I am out around 2k and counting...NIGHTMARE!!!
